Delta has been retained to conduct a search to fill the above position for a confidential client in their Kannapolis, NC office.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 8 years of construction project management in construction of heavy civil projects
Must have construction management experience on projects of at least $1million on up
Must understand all aspects of project management, including take-offs, scheduling, change orders & billings, and close-outs
Must understand and follow safety rules & procedures & follow OSHA requirements
Must ensure that projects are completed within prescribed budget
Works with supervisors, trade contractors, suppliers to manage schedules, project progress, drawing requirements and material delivery
Must have leadership skills & be able to manage construction crews
Oversees, delegates and monitors personnel on assigned projects
Proficient on computers, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Interacts effectively to facilitate job progress
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
Skilled in prioritizing, organization and time management
Ensure that company procedures and processes are followed
Must be able to travel, if required
Stable job history is a must
EDUCATION:
College degree or relative military experience preferred
