A successful candidate must:
Have a solid knowledge of residential construction and related codes.
Be able to work efficiently with great attention to detail and take pride in your craft.
Be able to work independently, when required, but be coachable and always open to learn new things.
Be willing to participate in training others as the organization grows.
Responsibilities Include:
Supervise residential construction and contractors Manage schedules and budgets Assist with finding new subcontractors and vendors Conform to best trade practices and local building codes Purchase materials and arrange for delivery Coordinate suppliers and shipments Schedule and meet inspectors at the jobsite / resolve discrepancies Develop policies and procedures Manage and execute warranty call-back process Conduct buyer walk-through initial and at 1-year QC walk through at construction milestones Document construction progress using project management system Assist accounting department with vendor invoice approval and processing While we firmly believe in developing talent and helping new faces grow in the industry we love, this job posting is for candidates with 5
