You will report to the company's Lab Director and provide administrative support for various cross-functional teams such as Lab Operations, R&D, Quality Assurance, Office staff, etc.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and excellent communicator with positive attitude.
The role involves a wide variety of administrative tasks.
Willingness and ability to learn quickly and communicate effectively is essential.
Responsibilities The Office & Lab Coordinator role will have the following
Responsibilities:
Answer the company's phone line & route calls to the team as appropriate.
Receive the incoming shipments of samples, equipment etc.
and route them to the team.
Assist with and coordinate the purchase order & billing/invoicing processes with vendors, and customers.
Manage the inventory of office, lab and break room supplies and order items as needed.
Maintain the general tidiness of the office and lab areas.
Greet and coordinate visitors.
Communicate effectively with customers as it relates to tasks such as receiving & logging samples and relevant follow-ups.
Help the team build strong relationships and trust with vendors and customers through positive interactions, listening and understanding while responding in a timely manner.
Assist with scheduling meetings and conference rooms.
Administrative filing process management (paper-based and electronic).
Assist with other general office and lab administrative tasks such as printing, copying, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications Candidates will preferably have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in coordinating & administrating tasks in an office and/or lab environment.
Additionally, the ideal candidates will have the following experience/skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work well independently and with a cross-functional team.
Strong understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Docs and similar applications.
Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities, and take proactive initiative.
Excellent time management skills.
US work authorization.
Education Requires Associate Degree.
Bachelors preferred.
Compensation A compelling compensation package will be outlined for the selected candidate.
