Open Until Filled Primary Purpose of Position:
This position will provide administrative and office/procedural support work for the Utilization Management (UM) Department.
This position will (1) relieve the department of routine office tasks (2) collect, analyze, edit and report information (3) assist with the development, set up and preparation for departmental training programs and publications (4) administrative tasks related to prior authorization requests within the scope of this position.
Role and
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive support to UM leadership, the department and the organization as a whole.
Organization/Administrative Support Assign prior authorization requests and manage prior authorization assignment.
Administrative processing of prior authorization requests.
Other tasks as needed related to prior authorization requests.
Making arrangements for conferences and meetings, inclusive of meetings involving external participants Planning and arranging for the maintenance and preparation of information/materials needed by team members Screening/routing mail Facilitating flow of work through the assigned teams and department Taking meeting minutes for internal and/or external meetings Answers telephones, greets, and assists visitors.
Assesses information given and responds with proper information.
Collaborates/ Coordinates efforts with other employees to ensure that assigned program practices are consistently implemented and informs Supervisor if unable to resolve concerns directly with employee involved (e.
g.
deviations in timelines or needed documentation, etc.
) Appropriately directs questions/concerns and promotes positive work environment.
Gather information required for reports submitted to internal departments and external entities.
Composing letters and memorandums Data Management Thoroughly and accurately enters and maintains data in all applicable systems and/or databases as per established practices, processes or protocols Ensures that established processes and protocols are consistently followed and that opportunities for streamlining are shared with Supervisor Ensures that all data/information sharing is timely and well-documented to support waiver compliance and strong customer service Maintaining spreadsheets and reports Assists in design of reports for internal and external recipients Other Related Projects and Duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Considerable knowledge of office techniques and technology Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Ability to gather information and produce reports Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships Ability to analyze and interpret policy and procedural guidelines Ability to organize work flow and coordinate activities Ability to effectively problem-solve Ability to manage and uphold integrity and confidentiality of sensitive data Education/Experience Required:
High School graduate or equivalent and two (2) years of administrative support experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
